Privacy Statement

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage. Google Analytics may collect information such as pages viewed, page URLs, device and browser information, approximate location, referral source, and on-site interactions such as camp detail views, featured camp clicks, and clicks to camp provider websites.

The summer planner stores selected camp IDs in your browser's local storage so your plan can remain available on the same device. Bay Camps does not receive that local plan unless you create or open a shared planner link, which encodes the selected camp IDs in the URL.

We do not ask you to create an account, register for camps through Bay Camps, make payments, or submit child names, parent contact details, health information, or school records.

We use analytics information to operate the site, understand which pages and camp listings are useful, measure outbound interest in camp providers, debug problems, and improve the directory and planner experience.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use Bay Camps to process camp registrations or payments.

Google Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers to measure site usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and Google offers a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

The planner uses local browser storage for your saved plan. Clearing site data in your browser will remove the saved plan from that device.

We use Google Analytics for usage measurement. You can read more about how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services at Google's partner sites policy.

Map views use third-party map tiles and attribution from CARTO and OpenStreetMap. Camp provider links take you to websites we do not operate; those providers have their own privacy practices.

Bay Camps is intended for parents and guardians researching camps. It is not designed for children under 13 to submit personal information, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this site.

Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals. There is not a single accepted standard for how websites should respond to those signals, and Bay Camps does not currently respond to them automatically.

We may update this statement as the site changes. If we add accounts, contact forms, payments, advertising features, or other data collection, we will update this page to describe those practices.
