Spring Down Equestrian Center — Horsemanship Camp

Nestled in the hills of Portola Valley, Spring Down Equestrian Center has offered summer horsemanship camps for decades on its scenic 725 Portola Road property. Campers are grouped by experience level — no prior riding knowledge is required — and spend each day learning to ride, groom, tack up, and care for horses under the guidance of experienced instructors. Single-day Crazy About Horses camps and multi-week sessions are available, including an Intermediate Camp for riders who can already walk, trot, canter, and jump independently. The center's knowledgeable staff makes it one of the Peninsula's most respected equestrian programs for youth.
