Peninsula Youth Sailing Foundation — Summer Sailing Camps
Community sailing camps at Westpoint Harbor in Redwood City for ages 6–18, from beginner Guppies to advanced racing teams.
The Peninsula Youth Sailing Foundation (PYSF) offers a full spectrum of summer sailing programs at Westpoint Harbor in Redwood City. Young sailors age 6–7 start in the Guppies program with a playful, confidence-building introduction to life on the water, while the Learn to Sail series (ages 8–11) progresses through boat handling, sail trim, knot tying, water safety, and racing fundamentals. Teens can join Adventure Sailing, Learn to Wing Foil, or competitive development teams racing C420s and i420s at Bay Area regattas. All boats are provided for introductory classes; class sizes are capped at 10–12 students. Scholarships are available as part of PYSF's community sailing mission.
