Peninsula Swim School at 1602 Stafford Street in Redwood City has been teaching kids to swim from as young as three months of age, using a patient, play-based approach with toys, songs, and games that builds confidence in the water. The 2025 Summer Swim School runs weekly Monday–Thursday sessions beginning the week of June 9th through the week of August 4th, with each week including four lessons. The school's indoor/outdoor pool is kept at a comfortable 92°F year-round, and instructors evaluate each child's individual needs to tailor the progression. Kids must be at least 3 years old and potty-trained to participate in the summer program.
