Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA — Nature Camp
Nature and wildlife education summer camp for ages 8–13 at the PHS Wildlife Care Center in Saratoga, featuring nature excursions, wildlife observations, and visits with wildlife and conservation professionals.
The Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA Nature Camp gives children an up-close look at local wildlife and ecosystems at the organization's Wildlife Care Center in Saratoga. Each session blends art projects, animal-themed games, nature crafts, and daily activities along the Learning Path with interactive exhibits. Nature excursions teach campers to observe local wildlife, identify tracks and species, and explore ecosystems from the Coastal Bay Area to the Santa Clara Valley. Campers also visit with Wildlife Rehabilitation staff, a Conservation Biologist, and other professionals. Two age-specific weeks are offered (ages 8–10 and 11–13) in July. Closed-toe hiking shoes are required; the camp operates outdoors rain or shine.
