Clayroom San Mateo offers week-long summer ceramics camps for kids (ages 8–12) and teens (ages 13–16), running Monday through Friday, 10am to 3:30pm in San Mateo. Each session takes campers through a full range of clay techniques including pinch pots, coil and slab building, a challenge day, and wheel throwing where students learn to make bowls and cups on the pottery wheel. The intimate studio setting gives campers room to develop real ceramic skills and individual creative voice. Multiple sessions are offered across June, July, and August, making it easy to find a week that works.
