City-run outdoor adventure recreation summer camp for grades K–5 at Twin Pines Park in Belmont, featuring games, crafts, field trips, and water play.
Camp SOAR (Summer Outdoor Adventure Recreation) is the City of Belmont's beloved parks and recreation summer camp, held at beautiful Twin Pines Park. Campers in grades K–2 (Hawks) and grades 3–5 (Eagles) enjoy a full week of outdoor games, arts and crafts, field trips, water play, and silly songs while building friendships in a supportive community environment. Eight consecutive one-week sessions run Monday through Friday beginning mid-June, with full-day programming from 8am to 5:30pm. An inclusive Adaptive Camp integrating youth with and without disabilities is offered during weeks 4–8. A Counselor-in-Training program is available for ages 13–17, and paid Recreation Leader positions are open to ages 15 and up.
