Adventures in Writing delivers creative writing instruction in an innovative, engaging way with a focus on building confidence in young writers. For elementary students, lessons are delivered as songs while new writing skills are practiced through creative chants and storytelling. Middle school campers engage in project-based learning with focus on persuasive and explanatory writing. The camp operates at multiple Peninsula and Bay Area locations with different age-level tracks, from rising 1st graders learning story skills to middle schoolers producing published eBooks.
